Are you looking for a career in the marine services industry?

I am currently working with a leading provider of safe, reliable and customised marine services to Oil, Gas and LNG terminals as well as Port operations.

They are looking for a Commercial Officer to join their team in Sharjah, UAE.

Your role will be supporting the Commercial Director to maximise revenue and profitability through tendering and commercial management of the regional fleet of vessels.

Responsibilities Include:

Identify and obtain relevant tender and contract documents.
Assist the Commercial Director in the timely preparation of tenders and contract negotiations.
Develop and manage client relationships as directed by the Commercial Director.
Support the Commercial Director and Contract Managers to ensure timely issuance of invoices, collection of payments from debtors and all necessary documentation as required.
Liaise with Legal Department to ensure that the SL charter party agreements and contracts database is kept up to date.
Ensure SL's prequalification on the bid list of companies as defined in the Group Business Plan.
Maintain SL details up to date with IOC's and NOC's procurement systems.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree preferably in a maritime or business related field.
2 to 5 years' experience in a similar position within the shipping industry.
Previous experience in chartering, tender management and contract admin is essential.
Experience with Tugs, AHTS, OSV's, PSV's or DSV's
Willingness to travel regularly
