Description

Responsibilities:

Achieve budgeted revenue and gross profit on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
Maintain excellent store ambience, including displays, upkeep, cleanliness, and staff grooming
Manage inventory effectively, ensuring product availability and checking for damages and expiry
Control business expenses within budget, including payroll vs sales ratio, utilities, and marketing spend
Improve team productivity through performance reviews, coaching, and training
Achieve store's budgeted topline targets categorywise and increase customer basket size and footfall
Monitor daily sales and work with CSAs to improve sales
Reduce operational expenses and improve efficiency
Ensure adequate stocks for sales and replace nearexpiry/damaged goods
Review category sales and improve assortments to drive sales and customer footfall
Ensure attractive promotion displays and merchandising are done as per the plan
Address customer complaints and maintain good customer relations
Train and guide CSAs to provide excellent customer service, upsell and crosssell
Ensure facility is auditready, maintain infrastructure and equipment, and comply with regulations
Monitor staff work allocation and scheduling for smooth store operations
Assign monthly targets, evaluate performance, and complete staff appraisals
Address staff grievances by coordinating with HR and Operations Manager
710 years of retail store experience (supermarket/hypermarket) with at least 3 years in a Section Supervisor or above role
Good analytical skills, business acumen, and Excel skills
Proficient in English and Hindi
Age below 40 years.
