Description

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Safety Officer. The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees by identifying and mitigating workplace hazards, implementing safety policies and procedures, conducting training programs, and promoting a culture of safety within the organization

Responsibilities:

Conduct regular inspections of the workplace to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Develop, implement, and update safety policies and procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for corrective actions to mitigate identified risks.
Organize and conduct safety training programs for employees to educate them about safety protocols, emergency procedures, and the proper use of safety equipment.
Investigate accidents, incidents, or near misses to determine their causes and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
Collaborate with department heads and supervisors to address safety concerns and implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, training sessions, and safetyrelated documentation.
Ensure the availability and proper use of safety equipment and personal protective gear.
Keep abreast of safety regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement in safety standards.
Promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability among employees through communication, training, and recognition programs.
