  • OVERVIEW/BASIC FUNCTION:

As a Sales Coordinator at Rosewood Abu Dhabi, role extends beyond support to the development and implementation of a professional system for the administration of the Rosewood Sales & Marketing operation.

This system will adhere to Rosewood operating standards and best practices within the industry, ensuring the efficient management of databases, contracts, and operating files.

Moreover, it aims to provide a seamless, customer-focused sales environment where the customer is at the heart of our priority.

Our sales systems and efforts will consistently reflect our commitment to delivering world-class customer service.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sales Support: Provide comprehensive support to the Sales and Marketing team in managing client relationships, responding to inquiries, and assisting in the creation of sales proposals and contracts.
  • Administrative Duties: Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, report generation, and maintaining organized sales records.
  • Sales Calls: Conduct sales calls to key accounts, fostering strong relationships and promoting the hotel's offerings.
  • Event Coordination: Collaborate with the Events team to ensure successful execution of group bookings and events, including site inspections and coordination of event details.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to contribute valuable insights to the Sales and Marketing strategy.
  • Proposal Generation: Assist in the creation of customized sales proposals, presentations, and collateral materials to showcase the hotel's offerings.
  • Sales Meetings: Participate in sales meetings, record minutes, and track action items to keep the team informed and on track.
  • Database Management: Maintain and update customer relationship management (CRM) systems and databases to ensure accurate and uptodate client information.
  • Guest Relations: Provide exceptional service and support to guests, attending to their requests and inquiries with the utmost professionalism.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales activities, lead generation, and client feedback for management review.
  • All other administrative and project related duties to Sales department.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience: Previous experience in Administration in a Hotel Sales Environment.
  • Education: Preferred to Degree level / Diploma level acceptable.
  • General Skills: Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and followup; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest's service needs; work cohesively with coworkers as part of a team; work with mínimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
  • Technical Skills: Strong administration and organizational skills, clear and precise use of written and spoken English, conversant with technology including Sales Force, Power point, Opera, Microsoft Office.
