Job Summary.

QC Inspector is responsible for First Article Inspection, Review Material Test certificates, Batch Inspection, Carry out in-process audit, Receiving Inspection, Assembly parts Inspection, Raising NCRs for in-house and supplier products, Shipping NCRS, Finished Parts Inspection, Calibration and control of gauges.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Inspect first off and do first article inspections
  • API 71 RSC inspection
  • Inspect goods inwards including to the relevant drawings and PO requirements
  • Inspects finished parts and document inspection
  • Update procedures and specs when required.
  • Inspection of NCR parts for assembly and suggest rework
  • Assembly parts inspection before beginning assembly.
  • Intercompany parts receiving inspection before getting them in stock.
  • Buyout parts certificates review and review.
  • Carry out MPI ,UT and PT as per the requirements shown in QA plans.
  • Comply with NOV HSEQ Policy and Safety Procedures to avoid incidents and accidents.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILL-SET REQUIRED:


Required Qualification:


  • Diploma or Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in visual or borescope inspection of products.
  • Experience in using root cause analysis tools.
  • JDE experience.
  • MS Office.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
