Are you ready to take the next step in your career?

We are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to join our expert team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

In this role, you will be responsible for daily book-keeping and financial accounting, financial planning and analysis, tax compliance, cash flow management, risk management, relationship and administration management.


In detail, your responsibilities will be:
Daily Book-keeping & Financial Accounting

  • Complete GL responsibility in terms of bookkeeping in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local requirements.
  • Issuing Sales invoices from ERP.
  • Efficient AR and AP management for the regional customers/suppliers with active followups and ownership to control the DSO.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and IFRS.
  • Reconciliation of Bank statements and other financial documents.
  • Monthly Intercompany Reconciliations with other group companies.
  • Accurate and timely monthly/quarterly and yearly corporate reporting as per company requirements.
  • Process payroll and accounting entries accurately monthly.
Financial Planning and Analysis

  • Provide strategic financial insights and analysis to support decisionmaking by senior management.
  • Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and proposing corrective actions.
Tax Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with federal tax regulations.
  • Prepare and file tax returns (VAT), ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Sufficient knowledge and prior experience in handling Corporate Tax requirements to support the new UAE CT Law.
  • Ability to support with other local and legal regulatory compliances such as filing of UBO and ESR with DED in Abu Dhabi.
Cash Flow Management

  • Manage and optimize cash flow by monitoring daily operations and financial transactions.
  • Ability to use Bank platforms to initiate and execute payments.
  • Treasury management with Group treasury for forex hedging and arranging cash in/out flows as per local company requirement.
Risk Management

  • Identify and assess financial risks, implementing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and legislation.
Relationship Management

  • Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance and successful audits.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other key stakeholders.
Administration

  • Oversee daytoday office operations, ensuring a clean, organized and efficient work environment.
  • Manage office suppliers, equipment and maintenance needs of the office.
  • Manager yearly rental agreements for realestate as well as external manpower services.
  • Assist with documents preparation like POA's and arranging CISPA passes as and when required.
What you need to be successful in the role:

  • Degree in Finance & Accounting/ MBA Finance or professional finance qualification (e.g., CA, FCCA) is a plus.
  • Proven experience (12+ years) in a similar role, preferably in a multinational organization in Abu Dhabi.
  • Thorough knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Strong analytical, problemsolving, and decisionmaking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team working.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
