EX Coordinator
Ensure that relevant activities within the discipline are within the company framework and in conformance with contract requirements, Project Execution Plan, and relevant laws and regulations. The health and safety of personnel, natural and working environment and equipment shall be taken care of.
Plan and manage execution of base line Ex-Inspection, development of punch list and resolution of same at yard in consultation with EICT lead.
Coordinate and manage Classification and Regulatory bodies for Ex-Inspection and related compliance activities in consultation with EICT lead.
Work with Company operations team to ensure clear guidance and clarifications are provided with regards to scope of work for EICT discipline.
Work with Company Regulatory Compliance & Verification Lead and Contractors to ensure that required compliance and verification activities in areas of Ex compliance and EICT are defined and executed as required.
Review and comment documents like Ex register, certificate and other design & engineering document and work packages prepared by Contractor
Prepare Ex strategy, documents and drawings as required to clearly define and execute the scope of work.
Review comments from Certifying Authority on design of the I&C and metering systems and assist in resolving issues.
Participate in different reviews as required
Participate in design reviews, HAZID's, HAZOP's and any other related safety studies as required.
Monitor and review Contractor's overhaul, demolition, construction, installation and hookup activities and report to the EICT lead on any failure or gap to Project, regulatory and contract requirements.
Monitor, review and support mechanical completion, precommissioning and commissioning activities in areas of I&C and metering along with EICT Lead.
Report to the EICT lead any delays in progress under his/her area of responsibility.
Report to the EICT lead any failure of design or gap between the delivered I&C solution and the contract requirement, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Participate in meetings and audits/ inspections as required, worldwide.
Coordinate Lessons Learned input to Company Project Management Team.
Other duties as required by the Engineering Manager & EICT Lead

Qualifications:

Technical education on bachelor level or higher within Electrical engineering discipline or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience within engineering disciplines along with Ex inspection and compliance.
Work experience as Ex Inspector or Ex Compliance management on UK offshore project is mandatory.
Recent experience of working on modification projects and / or FPSO redeployment is strongly desired.
Recent experience of working in a similar role on UK North Sea projects will be an advantage.
Strong & interpersonal skills applied to a multi disciplined project team
Recent relevant experience in middle east / southeast Asian shipyards is an advantage
