Commercial Insurance Brokerage Services is looking to hire a General Underwriter to join our technical team in Dubai.

Reporting to the General Manager the incumbent will be responsible for the entire general insurance underwriting process through a variety of technical tasks.

• Deliver against underwriting and financial measures.
• Underwrite risks and handle technical referrals.
• Responsible for underwriting both new business and renewals.
• Accurately select, assess, and price risk in line with underwriting guidance.
• Ensure standards are met and the governance framework adhered to.
• Develop key internal stakeholder relationships.

• Analytical mind
• Result oriented
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good Presentation Skills.

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum 5 years of experience in General Insurance.
• Previous insurance experience is a must.
• Coding knowledge is preferred.
• Knowledge of different network tariffs.
• Experience in dealing with insurers.
• The ability to manage clients, distribution teams, and insurers.
• Experience in handling claims.
