Our Client, a leading multinational Insurance company are looking to hire a Global Broker Sales and Support Manager to lead their global Broker Sales and Support Teams.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • With thorough understanding on the GIH sales strategy, design and deliver an effective broker centric support model for brokers globally.
  • Lead both GIH Broker Sales and Support Teams in UK and the DIFC, including a geographically diverse team, to ensure delivery of all key objectives.
  • Ensure all distribution channels are selling in accordance with regulatory and business guidelines.
  • Achieve sales, service and retention targets predetermined by management and set appropriate team metrics.
  • Provide sales monthly reporting to evidence and report on performance versus set targets to facilitate insightsdriven decisions by GIH sales leadership.
  • Represent all distribution channels in the design of operating models and sales processes pertaining to new market development projects, new product launches, and any in market regulatory changes that may be advised by the business from time to time.
  • Implementing and training documented sales and support processes across the broker sales channel in accordance with FCA, DFSA and any other regulatory requirements, to ensure appropriateness of sale.
  • Oversee the global broker registration and license process for new and existing brokers.
  • To ensure broker representatives are appropriately trained to ensure appropriateness of selling to meet customer needs and demands.
  • Coach Broker Sales & Service managers on every aspect of their job.
  • Be able to create and analyse reports to spot trends and help manage the business.
  • Lead, develop, motivate and performance manage staff including undertaking monthly reviews, midterm and yearly reviews of staff in support of people development agenda.
  • Recruit and train new staff in line with business demands.
  • Ensure broker sales are conducted with integrity and customers are treated fairly at all times.
  • To develop effective relationships and communications with external brokers and business development managers to ensure a seamless delivery of service. Actively encourage all team members to do likewise.
  • Maintain accurate records and files as required.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.

Requirements:


  • Prior management experience in a global health organisation and in a Telesales environment.
  • Prior experience of working with intermediaries and/or Third parties ideally in the Financial Services sector.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Experience in global medical insurance sales.
  • Strong B2B focus with ability to identify and solve problems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to exercise judgement.
  • The ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to identify and manage complex problems.
  • Sound analytical skills and ability to focus on detail.
  • Experience and deep knowledge of working in a regulated environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Selfmotivated with confidence to use own initiative and to innovate.
  • Proven trackrecord of meeting customer needs within a fastpaced service industry.
  • Experience in developing and motivating high performing teams and individuals.
  • Experience in developing, documenting and continuously improving process and procedure.
  • Define and deliver initiatives and projects that deliver performance, financial, efficiency or broker centricity enhancements.
  • Deep knowledge of a complex suite of products.
