JOB TITLE
Procurement Manager - Retail Operations | MAF Retail | CORP Head Office


ROLE SUMMARY

The role holder is responsible for
defining the need of assets for new stores as well for operating stores by reviewing the pattern of asset investments done earlier for similar store.


Benchmarking the productivity of assets with respect to projected sales for a concept as well for a department. Implementation of the agreed and approved layout at site and coordinating with stakeholders is the part of the scope.


ROLE PROFILE

Need Definition

  • Benchmark the previous spend on assets in all format.
  • Benchmark the projected sales of concepts with actual sales Vs. asset spend.
  • Review and record the max. productivity of assets Vs max. sales of the product.
  • Review the layout with commercial team and understand the need.
  • Quantification and optimization of required assets.
  • Conduct the annual spend analysis and procurement planning exercise for MAF Retail to identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency by understanding the commercial need

Implementation - Material and Services Delivery

  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to users and that users are kept fully informed of any possible delays which may affect the delivery of their material
  • Manage receipt and inspection of materials in coordination with respective users to ensure compliance to quality and quantity
  • Monitor on an ongoing basis, the overall management of assets, to ensure assets are being managed and maintained as per guidelines and quality standards
  • Ensure the proper conservation, utilization and profitability of department assets

Database Management

  • Ensure proper recording of all material and assets purchased
  • Oversee and manage the tracking of the MAF Retail's asset data

Research and Innovation

  • Actively seeks innovative and creative technological tools for increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of purchasing operations
  • Participate in eprocurement process preparation and implementation

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Administration or Marketing
  • Minimum 10 years in similar role
  • Experience in
    Capex Procurement** is required
  • Preferably 4+ years in the retail business or closely related industry
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong planning and organization
  • Product/category/brand knowledge
