Description

We are urgently looking for an Occupational Therapist (DOH or DHA license is not required):

  • Perform evaluations using formal and informal/standardized assessment tools.
  • Develop and implement developmentally appropriate goals.
  • Maintain timely treatment records and progress reports.
  • Consistently assess progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Provide parent training and support as an integral part of the therapy program.
  • Participate as a member of an interdisciplinary and collaborative team
  • Assess, analyze, and plan therapy management,
  • Helping children achieve their developmental milestones such as fine motor skills, and sensory and handeye coordination.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Proven experience as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Minimum twoyear experience working with children with developmental delays or multiple disabilities.
  • Experience in a special needs school is an advantage.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with parents, staff, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications
  • Ability to write ITP/progress reports.
  • Flexible with a Positive Attitude.
  • Must have excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills.
  • With a Certificate of Equivalency

SALARY NEGOTIABLE

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
