A reputed Aluminium Contractor Company in Abu Dhabi is looking for an experienced
Junior Procurement officer to join with the team


Responsibilities:


  • Assist in sourcing and procuring quality goods and services while maintaining costeffectiveness.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of materials.
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
  • Research potential suppliers, comparing prices, quality, and delivery times to make informed decisions.
  • Maintain and update procurement records, vendor databases, and pricing information.
  • Assist in negotiating terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers.
  • Monitor and track inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock situations.
  • Participate in the evaluation of supplier performance, addressing any issues or discrepancies.
  • Assist in implementing procurement strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in procurement.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree or similar qualification in a related field.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Basic understanding of procurement processes and terminology are a plus.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:


  • Procurement: 1 year (preferred)
