Position Purpose
Plan, budget, manage the execution and evaluation of the performance marketing strategy. Report on performance and decisions to the wider business.

This role reports into the Communications Director.

Key Accountabilities:


Paid Media:


  • Work with internal and external digital marketing teams to devise the strategy and approach to driving optimal traffic to Sephora websites
  • Work closely with other marketing and eCommerce areas like Trading, Web Analytics, CRM and Social teams, to gain insight that drives further optimization of the online marketing spend
  • Consult on landing page optimization and testing recommendations for search campaigns to support improvement.
  • Work in partnership with colleagues in global markets to ensure that best practices are utilized locally
  • Manage partner agencies to deliver all assets for our search marketing programs, e.g. keywords, copy, etc.
  • Develop relationships and manage regular calls with our search marketing agency
  • Continually innovate best practices and source, test, and evaluate potential new sources of highquality traffic

Mobile App:


  • Partner closely with teams across the organization, specifically CRM and store teams to educate customers and the business on the new platform
  • Manage, upload and support creation of inapp content
  • Measure the effectiveness of app advertising initiatives to drive awareness and adoption
  • Establish and optimize a variety of app advertising partnerships to drive greater adoption
  • Champion fundamental user experience elements of the app to ensure that the right voice and highquality content are maintained

Content & SEO:


  • Act as the brand guardian across the website ensuring the brand is represented consistently across all ecommerce platforms
  • Proactively assist with the development of all seasonal campaign imagery and other seasonal photoshoots/videos
  • Work with the Ecommerce team to provide recommendations for new content to be used for SEO and paid media channels, briefing this into the relevant teams
  • Identify gaps in content and work with local teams and external agencies to create the relevant landing pages
  • Work with the local marketing and content teams to deliver a coherent content strategy across our ecommerce platforms
  • Work closely with the content team across all markets to create local, relevant content plans based on keyword research and relevant topics
  • Ensure that digital marketing strategies and plans are well coordinated across teams and department to ensure clear messaging to users, and avoid campaign overlap

Skills, Experience and Personality:


COMPETNCIES & CHARACTER

  • Leadership skills and people management will be leading and working with various functions, agencies, brand teams and HQ teams in Paris
  • Agile, flexible and digitally savvy
  • Strong business acumen
  • Strong excel/word/PowerPoint knowledge

WORK EXPERIENCE:

- +5 years in a managerial role within ecommerce scope. Similar field of work and industry - beauty/fashion/online retail commerce is preferred.


LANGUAGES:


  • English + Arabic and French (preferred)
