We are looking for a
Financial Reporting Analyst (Manufacturing Industries) to provide accurate and data-based information on company's profitability, solvency, stability and liquidity.

You will research and analyze financial information to help company make well informed decisions, write reports and monitor financial movements.


Responsibilities

  • Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts etc) taking into account company's goals and financial standing
  • Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance
  • Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks
  • Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis
  • Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecast models
  • Identify trends, advise company and recommend actions to a senior financial analyst based on sound analysis
  • Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts
  • Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data
  • Gain and update job knowledge to remain informed about novelty in the field
  • Consult with management to guide and influence long term and strategic decision making within the broadest scope
  • Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function
  • Analyzing financial data.
  • Researching macroeconomic and microeconomic conditions.
  • Preparing accounting and other required reports and projections based on the analysis performed.
  • Evaluating capital expenditures and asset depreciation.
  • Establishing and evaluating records, statements, and profit plans.
  • Identifying financial performance trends and financial risk, and making recommendations.
  • Providing recommendations for improvement based on trends.
  • Coordinating with other members of the finance team, such as a risk analyst when required to review financial information and forecasts.
  • Analyze financial data and provide forecasting support
  • Organize data into accessible reports and perform various types of analysis using key metrics such as yearly growth, return on assets, return on equity and earnings per share
  • Review all nonlegal pertinent information about prospective deals
  • Oversee financial functions, such as assessing, auditing, planning, budgeting, taxes, consolidation, cost control and project control.
  • Evaluate and analyze capital expenditures, depreciation, proposals, investment opportunities, rate of return, profit plans, operating records, financial statements, etc.
  • Study a company's financial data to give advice for guiding business investments and overall financial strategy.
  • Determines cost of operations by establishing standard costs and collecting operational data.
  • Analyses past and current financial performance data.
  • Prepares reports and projections based on analyses.
  • Identifies financial status by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Guides cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Improves financial status by analysing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending improvements to management.
  • Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.
  • Maintains databases by entering, verifying, and backing up data.
  • Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses.
  • Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
  • Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications.
  • Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing results as needed.
  • Providing financial models.
  • Making financial forecasts.
  • Analyzing inventory.

Requirements and skills

  • Proven working experience as a Finance Analyst
  • Hands on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages
  • Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills
  • Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis
  • BS degree in Finance, Economics or related field
