Job Description - Finance Manager (temporary role 4 months)
Job Responsibilities
- Management and supervision of the Group's Finance & Accounting function
- Ensure Company's compliance with the DFSA rules and regulations.
- Preparation and submission of PIB returns through EPRS in a timely manner.
- Ensuring that the Company maintains adequate Capital Resources and liquid assets, at all times.
- Monitoring the Company's EBCM
- Liaising with the external auditors, internal auditors, compliance officer, lawyers and relevant authorities
- Preparation of budget and financial projections; anticipating issues, stress events
- Oversee/review of Funds' accounts and NAV Reports prepared by the administrators and keep a direct interaction with them.
- Establish and monitor the implementation of the Company's financial policies, procedures, systems and controls.
- Monitor and review financial transactions.
- Ensure timely submission of VAT returns.
- Ensure compliance with CRS/FATCA and ESR submissions to the Ministry of Finance.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in DFSA as Finance Officer
- Must have excellent knowledge of IFRS, Accounting Standards and Investment Fund Accounting processes.
- Excellent knowledge of DFSA and DIFC rules and regulations
- Well versed with CRS/FATCA/ESR and VAT Regulations
- Experience in Corporate and Fund accounting
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks
