Overview of the role


The job holder is responsible for content writing and translation of English and Arabic content, improvement and maintenance of content across all Ecommerce channels to achieve our business goals.


What you will do
Content Writing

  • Provide quality product content writing with reduced timetomarket for product go live.
  • Ensure content for both regular & seasonal campaigns is completed within the deadlines provided while maintaining the highest standard of quality
  • Copywrite, translate and maintain Arabic content that speaks to various clientspecific personas and market segments; creating a userfriendly experience for the reader.
  • Deliver weekly reports on Arabic content for brand site & product content
Brand Content Management

  • Systematically organize and manage content for digital product catalogues, website & other digital collaterals
  • Coordinate with Master Data, Buying, Merchandising, Studio & Store teams to ensure timely updating of content online
  • Execution of the defined content strategy for consistent improvement in brand's digital presence.
  • Have an online presence that upholds the brand value proposition
Customer Journey & Experience

  • Reduction in losses due to cancellations/returns caused by content error
  • Focus on measurement & feedback to ensure product & website & other online content is meeting brand & business objectives and customer needs
  • Work with crossfunctional teams (Development, Design, Merchandising, Digital Marketing teams) to develop and enhance the digital platform from a content perspective

Job-Specific/Technical Skills required to complete the tasks
Excellent written communication skills, ability to research on products across Outdoor, DIY, Tools, Paints, Furniture etc. Basic excel knowledge to forecast quantum of content creation. Ability to work under strict timelines.


What Equips you for the role

Education:
Bachelor's Degree; Creative writing preferred; Google Digital Marketing Certification
Minimum Experience and Knowledge: 3-5 years of Content creation experience in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.

Ability to manage timeline driven content projects.
