The Role


ACSME Gas & Process Aftermarket is responsible for providing support to all our customers in the MENA Region and Africa.

We currently have an opening for an Aftermarket Sales Consultant.

In this exciting and challenging role you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing word class customer service.

Primary responsibility will be to engage our customers in a professional and prompt manner in order to meet their requirements for Aftermarket Products and Services.

You will be the primary interface between the customer and our three product companies in order to ensure the prompt processing of customer inquiries.


Responsibilities:


  • Regularly interface with customer to identify needs and requirements
  • Liaise with the relevant product company to prepare customer proposals
  • Follow up on customer proposals through closing
  • Follow up with customers regarding payment issues and coordinate resolution as required
  • Aggressively work to reduce customer past dues
  • Maintain CRM data in relation to machine population and all activities
  • Continual assessment of customer base and market analysis
  • Track monthly shipments and ensure all requisite shipping information/documentation is provided in a proactive manner
  • Strive to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Provide feedback to the product companies regarding potential new products and services
  • Cooperate as required where local agents are utilized
  • Take all actions required to ensure divisional target (financial/efficiency) are met or exceeded
  • Generate monthly reports as required
  • Perform assigned duties in accordance with Atlas Copco standards, while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of the customer.
  • Take whatever action is appropriate and required to get the job done in a timely manner and to establish and maintain communications with all people/employees considered necessary
  • Always project a professional customeroriented image
  • Expected travel 75%

What we expect of you?
Experience requirements

  • Mechanical, electrical/electronic or instrumentation & controls degree
or relevant technical knowledge / trade qualifications

  • Minimum 2 to 5 years proven sales experience with rotating equipment, preferable with turbo machinery
  • Knowledge about process technology or contractual marketing would be of advantage
  • Solid Aftermarket sales experience, preferable in the Oil & Gas
- or Petrochemical industry

  • Proven track record of delivering profitable sales results
Knowledge

  • Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office products, particular with Word and Excel
  • Knowledge with CRM platforms
Educational requirements

  • BS in Mechanical or Electrical field

  • Ability to work independently and also as a team player
  • Selfmotivated, selfconfident and dynamic person
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly flexible and willing to adapt working time to business requirements
  • Overall willingness to do what it takes
