Responsibilities:


  • Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and slicing ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
  • Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen items, ensuring they are sanitized and ready for use.
  • Ensure proper storage of ingredients and kitchen supplies, monitoring inventory levels and restocking as needed.
  • Dispose of waste and garbage following health and safety regulations.
  • Help with basic cooking tasks, such as making salads, sandwiches, and simple dishes under supervision.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
