Interior Fit Out & Joinery Draughtsman
Our client is a well-established interior fit out and joinery contractor based in Dubai.


We are hiring an experienced AutoCAD MEP draughtsman to prepare layouts, detailed drawings, sketches, diagrams and assembly and production drawings for residential and commercial projects.


Role Summary
Prepare detailed MEP drawings for residential and commercial landscape, interiors and joinery designs.

Schematic payouts and 3d renders based on client briefs.

Bill of Quantity take-off.


Mandatory Skills & Experience
3+ years' 3D draughtsman design for interior fit out, landscape and joinery projects.


Experience of submitting designs for approvals and NOC for construction to Emaar, Nakeel, Trakhees and Dubai Municipality, DEWA and other authorities is a strong advantage.

In-depth working knowledge of AutoCAD, Autodesk 3ds Max, Photoshop, SketchUp, Revit.

Videomaking software such as Lumion or V-Ray is a strong advantage.

Currently living in the UAE - must be able to live and work in Dubai.

Fluent in English.

Professional appearance, communication and work attitude; able to work independently.

Interiors & Landscaping Designer
Our client is a well-established interior fit out and joinery contractor based in Dubai.


We are hiring an experienced AutoCAD MEP draughtsman to prepare layouts, detailed drawings, sketches, diagrams and assembly and production drawings for residential and commercial projects.


Role Summary


Lead the design process from conducting the initial client meetings, site surveys to understand the goals and scope of the project; assess project feasibility based on design preferences, functional needs and budget to concept development and project completion.

Create captivating designs that meet functional and aesthetic requirements for interiors, exteriors, landscaping and joinery.


Create high quality 3D design concepts, mood boards, sketches, material and finishes sample boards, floor plans and 3D visualizations / renderings based on the clients' requirements.

Design ergonomically sound and user friendly environments.

Present concept and design proposals to clients and incorporating changes.

Create detailed documentation related to drawings, specifications, space plans, materials and finishes to eliminate errors.

Collaborate with architects, contractors and project managers to ensure all design elements are incorporated into the project.

Oversee the procurement and installation of furniture, fixtures, and finishes to ensure compliance with design specifications and budgets.


Mandatory Skills & Experience

  • 10 years as an interior designer with a creative portfolio of amazing designs for interiors, exteriors and landscaping.
Experience of landscaping design including water features.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Autodesk 3ds Max, Vectorworks and Adobe Creative Suite.

Working knowledge of Dubai Municipality building codes and regulations.

Working knowledge of modern day sustainable design principles and practices.

Natural flair for articulating conceptual design through sketches and visuals.

UAE driving license is a strong advantage.


Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or Architecture

Currently living in the United Arab Emirates - must be able to live and work in Dubai.

Fluent in English.

Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.


Self-motivated and results driven - stays abreast of current fashion, architectural, materials, finishes and market trends related to interior and exterior designs, landscaping, furnishings and sustainability.
