Description
The Kitchen Steward is responsible for dishwash,potwash and cleanliness in the kitchen area.
He/She needs to ensure workplace cleanliness and practice correct storage and HACCP standards.

  • To ensure cleanliness of the guest & work environment.
  • To understand and act on food & hygiene standards as per Dubai Municipality.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for dish wash, pot wash and cleanliness in the kitchen area.
  • Minimise wastage and breakage and record all instances.
  • Support the kitchen and service operations.
  • Assist in food packaging in the appropriate containers for takeaway orders.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in any tasks related to work, timings, additional support etc.
  • Ensure correct and timely disposal of waste.

Standards and Compliance:


  • Understood and follow proper hygiene, safety and sanitation standards.
  • Strictly follow the guidelines for chemical storage, usage, and compliance standards.

Inventory Management:


  • Assist in storage and stock rotation for food items, packaging, material, equipment, etc.
  • Report any storage and ordering requirements for the chemicals, cleaning material, crockery, cutlery, glassware, etc.

Salary:
AED1, AED2,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
