Responsibilities:

Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding, as needed.
Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates, and report any abnormalities to medical staff.
Escort patients to appointments, tests, and procedures, providing comfort and support throughout the process.
Assist with patient transfers and mobility, using appropriate lifting and transfer techniques to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Set up and maintain patient rooms, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and adequate supplies are available for patient care.
Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, listening to their concerns and providing reassurance and encouragement.
Assist medical staff with procedures and treatments, including wound care, specimen collection, and administering medications under supervision.
Document patient information, observations, and care provided accurately and promptly in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sanitary environment in patient care areas.
Collaborate with other healthcare team members, including nurses, doctors, and therapists, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a healthcare setting.
Compassionate and empathetic demeanor, with a genuine desire to help others.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
Physical ability to lift and move patients, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical and professional standards.
