Position:
Factory Manager - Nuts Factory


Overview:

As the Factory Manager of a nuts processing facility, you will oversee all aspects of production, quality control, safety, and efficiency within the factory.

Your primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth operation of the facility, meeting production targets while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

This role requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of food processing, and the ability to manage resources effectively.


Key Responsibilities:

Production Management:
Plan, organize, and oversee the production process to meet production targets and customer demand. Develop production schedules, allocate resources, and monitor production activities to ensure timely and efficient output.

Quality Control:
Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that all products meet specified quality standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular inspections, audits, and quality tests to identify and address any quality issues or deviations from standards.

Safety Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies within the factory.

Implement safety protocols, provide training to employees on safety procedures, and conduct regular safety inspections to minimize risks and prevent accidents.

Inventory Management:

Manage inventory levels of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods to ensure continuity of production and minimize waste.

Monitor inventory levels, forecast future requirements, and coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to optimize inventory management processes.

5.


Equipment Maintenance:
Coordinate maintenance activities for factory equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Develop preventive maintenance schedules, conduct regular inspections, and oversee repairs and servicing as needed.

Cost Management:

Monitor production costs, identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement, and implement measures to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.

Analyze production data, identify trends, and implement strategies to improve cost-effectiveness and profitability.

7.


Team Leadership:

Lead and motivate a team of production staff, supervisors, and support personnel to achieve production goals and performance targets.

Provide coaching, training, and feedback to develop team members' skills and capabilities.

8.


Continuous Improvement:
Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the factory, encouraging innovation, problem-solving, and process optimization. Lead or participate in improvement projects to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a production management role, preferably in the food processing industry.
  • Strong leadership abilities with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals.
  • Technical knowledge of food processing equipment, production processes, and quality control standards.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices in food manufacturing.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify problems, and implement solutions.

Experience:

- food processing industry: 3 years (preferred)
