Lifeguard (Male-Arabic)

Location:
Abu Dhabi

Conditions of Work:

While main duties are predominately carried out in the Wakeboarding complex/lake area, work may be required in other areas of the property.

The work is mainly outdoors and in hot conditions.

Role Overview:

Responsible to look after the water safety of people using the Watersports facilities and equipment through public relations, public education, accident prevention and rescue.

Main Duties:

Supervise skiers, swimmers and bathers to prevent accidents and make sure they follow safety regulations
Provide guidance regarding water safety
Rescue skiers and swimmers in difficulty and provide first aid treatment if required
Place signs or barriers to warn of dangerous areas or conditions, and make sure skiers, swimmers and bathers are aware of potential dangers
Caution people behaving in an unsafe manner and report to Security or the Operations Manager those who refuse to cooperate
Report all incidents to the Operations Manager
Maintain rescue equipment
Maintain appropriate standards of conduct, dress, hygiene, uniform appearance and professionalism
Follow company policies and procedures, demonstrate efficient teamwork and contribute to the achievement of business goals
Assist the Watersports Team in the cleaning and maintenance of equipment
Monitor ride timing bunds for compliance
Assist at the guest rental are when required
Maintain cleanness of surrounding area
