Housekeeping manager typically has a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:- managing and regulating cleaning staff members
- Supervising and training other members of the housekeeping staff
- Scheduling and arranging for cleaning services as needed, such as carpet cleaning or extermination services
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure that rooms are ready for guests upon checkin
- Reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate staff member for resolution
- Preparing rooms for guests by dusting furniture, changing linens, and making beds
- Maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and other materials
- Maintaining a safe working environment for all employees by enforcing company policies and procedures
- Making sure SOPs and protocols will always be followed
- Knowledge and ability to train laundry different in different types of materials such as vicuña, silk, and other expensive garments
- Preferably Female
PREREQUISITES:
Education:
Hotel management diploma or equivalent. Read and understand instructions, safety rules, etc. Write reports with proper format, punctuation, spelling, and grammar. Speak with correct English and a well-modulated voice.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of housekeeping experience in a supervisory capacity in a luxurious property. Must have a strong laundry background.
Salary and Benefits:
Max of 12,000 AED, accommodation, tickets, visa, car, 21-30 days annual leave per year after 12 months of service.
