SUMMARY OF POSITION

Restaurant Outlet Manager Job Purpose:
Delivers revenues and profits by developing and providing appealing restaurant service; managing staff.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• To work adhering to policies & quality standards in all daily task
• Participate to establish restaurant business plan by surveying restaurant demand.
• Communicating with people in the community; identifying and evaluating competitors; participating to financial, marketing, and sales projections.
• Meets restaurant financial objectives.
• Initiating corrective actions; monitoring financial controls; developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and average meal checks.
• Controls purchases and inventory by meeting with account manager including developing preferred supplier lists also as reviewing and evaluating usage reports.
• Analyzing variances and taking corrective actions.
• Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures.
• Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality or service.
• Review financial statements, sales or activity report or other performance data to measure productivity or goal achievement or to identify areas needing cost reduction or program improvement.
• Monitor budgets and payroll records and review financial transactions to ensure budgets are met.
• Maintain food and equipment inventories and keep inventory records.
• Establish standards for personnel performance and customer service.
• Organize training programs, resolve personnel problems, make hiring and termination decisions, and evaluate employee performance.
• Administer prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for all violations of company policies, rules, and procedures.
• Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality or service.
• Maintains operations by preparing policies and standard operating procedures.
• Determine and implement system improvements.
• Maintains owner satisfaction by monitoring, evaluating, and auditing food, beverage, and service offerings.
• Accomplishes restaurant and bar human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining management staffs.
• Communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions
• Planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
• Maintains safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures complying with health and legal regulations.
• Accomplishes company goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language of the restaurant trading area.
• Have knowledge of service, systems and processes in food & beverage operations
• Must have a minimum of 8 years of experience of frontof thehouse including 3 to 4 years in managerial position in food and beverages outlets
• Possess excellent basic math skills and have the ability to operate a cash register or POS system as well as training juniors on the same system
• Must have the stamina to work long hours based on business requirements

Salary:
AED4, AED8,000.00 per month
