The BIM Project Manager shall serve as the main point of contact with the BIM Team for all BIM related issues.

Core Activities & tasks:

Shall be responsible but not limited for:

Chairing and leading BIM workshops between stakeholders
Provide support to the Engineering/Commercial Depts During technical meetings with external consultants
Review, validate and report on Consultants & Contractors BIM Execution Plans, submitted BIM Models and BIM performance
Review, track and validate that BIM Guidelines & Standards are being adhered to external consultants across all projects
Ensure conformity to the project/assignment timelines, approved program charter, and standards and specifications adhered by all project Stakeholders
Updating of BIM Guidelines & Standards as the project phases progress
Liaise and Support Cost Department with cost coding v's BIM model classification codes
BIM submissions of Technical Bids for Commercial Department
Manage and Coordinate BIM Team BIM Managers and BIM Engineers
Support and manage the BIM team to review Design and Construction BIM Deliverables to eliminate constructability challenges
Develop, grow & mentor a strong BIM team who can support tasks development of Buildings and Infrastructure projects

- lead and review BIM related delivery and commercial responsibilities

Champion contract, commercial and financial risk management in alignment with Client, and provide accurate forecasting on both costs and revenue
Technical leadership and guidance on solutions on BIM including innovation and technical expertise
Identify new latest industry BIM Standards & Technology solutions
Oversee BIM team, financial planning team and monitor performance through their life cycle to ensure positive financial performance
Provide training and technical support to all BIM team
Evaluate leading edge technology developments/software, researching and recommending innovative ways to utilize BIM data
Provide and coordinate live BIM Model walkthroughs
Compile BIM presentations and Consultant/Contractor BIM coordination workflows
Coordinate with BIM project manager & IT for required projects BIM resources

General Responsibilities

Shall be responsible for but not limited to:

Ensure development and compliance with the approved Project BIM Execution Plan
Responsible for the development, coordination, publication and, verification that all necessary configurations required for seamless integration of design and construction model information
Coordinate software training team file management
Coordinate the setup of the shared file server with the Design Team IT staff.
Facilitate BIM technical meetings with the BIM Managers
Ensure that the design deliverables specified in the contract are provided in accordance with the formats specified
Ensure eLOD and iLOD information is provided at milestone submittals as per client's

requirements

Ensure that BIM extracted 2D information conforms to client's requirements
Facilitate the use of federated design models in design coordination/clash detection meetings, and provide detection reports
Ensure that BIM is used appropriately to analyze design requirements/criteria for functionality
