Overview of the role
To successfully organize programs and deliver business outcomes to the organization. The Program Manager will develop programs to support the organization's strategic direction and OKRs (Objectives & Key Results). The Program Manager will be responsible for developing budgets and writing program, project and continuous improvement agile PODs funding requests


What you will do
Program Management

  • Manage programs of medium to high complexity while ensuring compliance to the EIT standard program & project management methodology, processes & tools ensuring organizational goals are achieved
  • Drive the delivery of the program roadmap, which include both Agile and Waterfall projects as well as dedicated Agile PODs for Continuous improvement of existing products
  • Engage with business and technology stakeholders to successfully meet the outcomes planned and as per the timelines
  • Orchestrate the delivery of projects within time and budget, adhere to high quality standards and meeting customer expectations
Leadership & Resource Management

  • Effectively mobilize and manage project resources (manpower, equipment & material) and lead the team towards successful delivery
  • Allocate and assign work assignments to resources in conjunction with the Engineering Heads
  • Manage relationships with key implementation vendors on projects; optimize engagement and drive execution
  • Effective utilization of project team, mitigate team conflict and communication problems; motivate team to work together in the most efficient manner
  • Facilitate/Support the change management aspects by demonstrating high level of maturity & leadership skills
Governance & Communication

  • Overall program governance and direction, implementing course corrections as needed
  • Focal point for the program communications to sponsors, stakeholders and Program steering committee
  • Ensure timely & relevant communication with all functiontechnical areas that impact scope, budget, risk, and resources of the work effort being managed
  • Ensure compliance with EIT standard PM methodology, IT Policies, Security Standards.
  • Ensure to steer the project teams & provide required coaching & guidance to the team members

Required skills to be successful

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (oral & written) and ability to deal with different levels of people within the organization. Results oriented and structured thinking.
  • Expertise in Microsoft packages, including Project, Powerpoint, Word and Excel. Experience with Jira and Confluence for task and communication management. Exposure to Microsoft Projects Online will be an added advantage.

About the team
The role will report to the Head of Program Manager & Delivery Operations


What equips you for the role

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related field; Project Management Certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum. Agile (Scrum/Safe) certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of dedicated experience in Corporate HR and Finance functions.
  • Advanced experience in IT Project Management and Agile Project Management / Scrum Master / Product Owner
