Aldar Academies are seeking a People & Culture Assistant (Temporary) for Bateen World Academy commencing Academic Year


Bateen World Academy is located in the center of the city of Abu Dhabi and is a hugely popular school based in a vibrant community.

The school is a high achieving British and IB World School (Years 7 to 13) easily exceeding IB Diploma global averages year on year and achieving outstanding I/GCSE results.

The school recently expanded into primary years, starting with FS2 to Year 3, and developed this year to include a full primary provision, FS2 to Year 6.

The Primary Years Programme (PYP) is an exciting addition and provides the community with an all through school experience from FS1 to Year 13 offering PYP, UK and IB Diploma options.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

Minimum Experience Minimum Experience

  • Previous working experience as a HR administrative assistant for 1 year.
  • Previous experience in working in the MOL system is a benefit.

Job Specific Knowledge & Skill

  • Knowledge of HR software (HRIS or HRMS and recruitment platforms)
  • Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Familiarity with UAE Labour laws (preferred)
  • Good Interpersonal Skills
  • Datadriven mindset
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Administrative writing and reporting skills High ethical standards
  • A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the people & culture team
  • Organize, compile, update department personnel records/documentation and update EDMS.
  • Checking documents and correspondences produced by department
  • Assist with preparation and updating of people & culture reports, database such as attendance, new hire, transfers, separations and turnover reports.
  • Performs any other assignments or tasks when requested or needed.
  • Assist in the maintaining employees' files, both electronic and paper based
  • Support and assist in updating and maintaining accurate data for Onboarding new staff and transfers
  • Assist in ensuring all resigned staff have correct acknowledgement letter and all relevant documents collated
