Position Purpose:


  • Responsible for maintaining and setting up food production and quality control of all meat, fish, fowl, sauces, stocks, seasonings, and all other food items prepared in the different kitchen stations.
  • Prepares all food items according to standard recipes and/or as specified on the guest check to ensure consistency of product for the guest. Visually inspects, selects, and uses only food items ideal for cooking in preparation of all menu items.
  • Checks and controls the proper storage of products, monitoring the age and condition of all food items to rotate and maintain the highest quality. Keeps all refrigeration equipment, storage, and working areas clean and clutterfree, complying with Health Department regulations.
Primary Responsibilities

  • Be passionate about guest service with the capability of delivering amazing hospitality to our guests.
  • Ensure required mis en place is complete prior to outlet opening hours.
  • Ensure all stocks are adequate for the needs of the business at all times.
  • Ensure all orders are placed at the required time.
  • Maintain a financial awareness of changing food costs
  • Checks the physical condition of equipment, ensuring adequate operating stock levels are maintained.
  • Independent management of the assigned posts in the kitchen area.
  • Advice to guests and customers and immediate handling of complaints.
  • Carry out inventories.
  • Monitoring the flow of goods.
  • Give instructions to and manage the kitchen commis and kitchen apprentices.
  • Communication with all employees in the service area
  • Monitoring goods at the goods in point in cooperation with the Purchasing Supervisor
  • Knowledge of operating all kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in order to complete requisitions read recipes and communicates with other team members.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma / Degree in Hospitality Management.
  • Minimum of 23 years' experience in a fine dining restaurant as Chef De Partie

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Must possess outstanding guest services skills, professional presentation and sophisticated communication skills

Salary:
AED4, AED5,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Chef de Partie: 3 years (preferred)
- fine dining: 3 years (preferred)
