Position:
GENERAL MANAGER (FMCG)


Interview Location:
Bin Shabib Mall, Al Quasis, Dubai


Role and Responsibilities:
As the GENERAL MANAGER of AWS Distribution, you will play a pivotal role in driving business locally and internationally in a sustainable manner and in line with the strategic direction of the company and manage the daily operations of the business


Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Overseeing daily business operations. Developing and implementing growth strategies. Training lowlevel managers and staff.
  • Creating and managing budgets. Improving revenue. Hiring employees. Evaluating performance and productivity.
  • Researching and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and market segments for growth.
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.
  • Collaborating with marketing teams to develop effective sales and promotional campaigns.
  • Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
  • Conducting regular performance reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members.
  • Representing AWS Distribution at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
  • Upholding the company's values, culture, and reputation in the market.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a GENERAL Manager or similar leadership role in the FMCG industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of FMCG sales processes, market dynamics, and trends.
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and teambuilding skills.
  • Proficiency in English (Arabic language skills are a plus).
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, trade shows, and events.
  • Resultoriented mindset with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
