    About TheOpportunity

    Our Public Affairsteam is a leading voice on government collaboration and policyadvocacy among the wider e-commerce industry across the MENAregion. As Public Affairs Senior Manager this will be youropportunity to be part of this conversation, and lead on some keyregulatory and policy solutions that benefits talabat and the widerecosystem.

    What'sOn Your Plate?

    • Identify, monitor, analyze and reporton current and future regulatory issues in all markets wheretalabat is active.
    • Gather intelligence, andreports on legislative and regulatoryagendas.
    • Articulate our policy positions inbriefing papers, consultation responses and internal policymeetings, as well as memos, and position papers whenneeded.
    • Cross-functionally work with internalstakeholders such as communications, legal and the broader policyteams.
    • Advise internal colleagues and teams onpublic policy matters to help guide the development of products,services and policies.
    • Gather global bestpractices and benchmarks, and create a log for key visions andgovernmental plans in the region.
    • Createtalking points and material to the management team on policyrelated topics.
    • Represent the company ingovernment meetings, and policy discussions around the region whenneeded.

    What you need to besuccessful

    WhatDid We Order?

    • Bachelor's degree in Law,Public Policy or related field.
    • 7+ years ofexperience in the public affairs and government relationsfield.
    • Deep knowledge of the MiddleEast's policy environment.
    • SuperbEnglish and Arabic verbal and written communicationsskills.
    • Ability to work in a matrix environmentand collaborate cross functionally while being accountable topublic affairs matters.
    • Proven track record inpolicy partnership/campaign building.
    • Abilityto manage multiple projectssimultaneously.
    • Tech industry, consultancy andgovernment projects experience are preferred.
