Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Ensure compliance with UAE tax laws and regulations.
Prepare and submit VAT returns and ensure timely payment of VAT.
Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements.
Manage payroll, including processing monthly payroll, preparing payroll tax returns, and ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws.
Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to management.
Prepare budgets and financial forecasts.
Work with external auditors during audits.
Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and procedures.
Provide support to other departments as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an SME environment.
Knowledge of UAE accounting principles and tax regulations.
Experience with UAE VAT compliance and filing.
Proficiency with accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
