POSITION
Barista

PURPOSE OF THE
POSITION
The Barista is an expert in handcrafting delicious, perfect beverages.

QUALIFICATIONS /CERTIFICATION /LICENSES

If mandatory - we will note this

  • Culinary or Sommelier certificate or higher
  • High school diploma or equivalent with prior café or coffee shop experience a plus.

EXPERIENCE

  • 2 to 5 years of work experience
  • Experienced in working with VVIP clients is a plus
MUST be a coffee bean expert. Knowledge of roasting and cupping preferred.

KEY SKILLS /KNOWLEDGE

The Barista loves coffee and creating new beverages. The barista is passionate about coffee. He/she will be a path on continuous learning - always looking for ways to create the perfect pour. The barista will have acute taste buds and will be able to tell the difference between different roasts. He/she will be knowledgeable about ingredients and techniques required to create perfect drinks.

Knowledge of coffee beans blending and roasting an advantage
