MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/KEY DUTIES

  • Oversee project operations and implementation offsite (at the workshop) or onsite (at the event venue).
  • Achieve sales targets as defined by INDEX Design
  • Act as primary pointofcontact for client
  • Proactively seek new ways to build and increase the services offered to existing client and increase the income generated
  • Source and develop new business opportunities, through one's own initiative and with the support and direction of the Manager.
  • Follow up, support and action any potential new business clients as directed by the Manager
  • Cold call prospective new business customers on a regular basis
  • Retain portfolio of clients
  • Manage sales opportunities in a structured and documented fashion
  • Monitor client budget and billing and collection for accuracy and timeliness
  • Develop timetables set deadlines for client project, communicate these to INDEX Design's various teams and subcontractors
  • Effectively interact with other departments including the design team ensuring they are briefed fully and correctly in all aspects concerning the client requirements
  • Respond to requests from the client in an efficient and timely manner
  • Manage the sales process from initial opportunity through to the securing of the client purchase order, up to ensuring successful delivery, and after event service
  • Coordinate with other INDEX Design personnel, departments and subcontractors to ensure the timely delivery, quality and cost control of deliverable s
  • Prepare and present periodic progress reports to the Manager

Skills required:


  • Absolute understanding of the sales process
  • Strong understanding of the product namely stands for exhibitions or promotions and paraphernalia
  • Strong project management skills
  • Demonstrate commitment to teamwork and account results
  • Strong motivation and a positive approach to researching and analyzing new business opportunities
  • Strong, day to day, client management skills and ability to keep promises
  • Passionate customer focused attitude
  • Strong listening and questioning skills
  • Excellent negotiation and rapport building skills
  • Must be a native arabic speaker

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
