Responsibilities:


  • Prepare baked goods such as cakes, cookies, and croissants
  • Mix and prepare dough for bread and other baked goods
  • Decorate and present pastries and other dessert items
  • Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Assist with menu planning and development
  • Follow food safety guidelines and ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen
  • Collaborate with other team members in creating new and innovative desserts

Requirements:


  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Certification/Diploma in Baking and Pastry Arts or related field
  • Knowledge of food safety guidelines and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Creativity and passion for baking and pastry
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Willing to work in a restaurant kitchen and able to switch between bakery products and pastry.
