Student Services provide programs, services, and resources that enhance student life outside of the classroom, promote student engagement and success, and foster a sense of belonging and community on campus.
Reporting to the Student Life & University Events Manager, the Events Administrator will be responsible for the development and execution of a variety of UOWD events that support the mission and values of the university.
Requirements & Responsibilites
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, and familiarity with event management software.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

- Willingness to work irregular hours including evenings and weekends occasionally as events schedules require.
Responsibilities
Provide administrative support for all aspects of the planning, coordination, and execution of University events, including but not limited to welcome events, orientation, workshops, seminars, club events, festivals, and graduation.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- 2+ years of experience in an administrative role.
Desirable:
- Experience in the Education / HE sector within the GCC region would be advantageous
