MAJOR DUTIES_

  • Drive and operate fully reinforced, precast concrete piling into the ground
  • Carry out rotary bore piling using a temporary casing and auger to drill to the necessary depth
  • Install mini piles where space is limited
  • Check equipment before it's used and keeping it maintained
  • Work with technical plans and information
  • Identify the position of underground services (such as pipes or wires) before starting work
  • Use hoisting equipment to position piling leads and hammers
  • Tests and monitors equipment using correct procedures.
  • Trains and directs the crew on safety and job procedures.
  • Establishes daily maintenance & housekeeping program for the rig.
  • Oversees the setting up, taking down, and transportation of drilling rigs & equipment.
  • May be requested to work outside of regular work schedule to meet customer needs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS_

  • VALID LIGHT AND HEAVY DRIVING LICENSE
  • 2+ YEARS PILING RIG OPERATION EXPERIENCE
  • OPERATING EXPERIENCE OF
    SOILTECH SR80C OR SIMILAR MACHINE IS AN ADVANTAGE
  • KNOWLEDGE OF DUBAI, ABU DHABI AND OTHER EMIRATES LOCATIONS
  • KNOWLEDGE OF BASIC MECHANICAL FUNCTIONS
  • BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF CRANE OPERATION

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Piling: 2 years (preferred)
