Description
Overview:
Accounts receivable duties include ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts.
Role:
- Processing accounting receivables and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Preparing bills receivable, invoices, and bank deposits
- Obtaining information from other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete and that accounts receivable ledgers and journals are up to date.
- Working with the collections department to review accounts, client payments, credit history, and develop new or better repayment terms.
- Performing administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, preparing invoices, sending bill reminders, filing paperwork, and contacting clients to discuss their accounts.
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients' billing issues
- Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
- Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
- Preparing time charter invoices on monthly basis
- Preparing freight charter invoices upon getting cargo docs
- All bank jobs (submission of transfers, cash withdrawal, deposits, coordination with rm etc)
- Manage petty cash and recording the bills in to erp
- Assist in payroll preparation.
- Coordination with internal and external audits.
- Coordination with all the departments against the client's back charges for certification and verification.
- Manage client and supplier relationship and maintain records in respective to finance nature.
- Manage Journal vouchers.
- Provide Admin support
- Manage all utilities payments.
- Send payment reminders on weekly basis.
- Performing other accounting duties and supporting higher management as required or assigned.
Requirements:
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar role.
- Strong math, typing, and computer skills, especially with bookkeeping software.
- Excellent communication, research, problemsolving, and time management skills.
- High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to build relationships with clients and internal departments.
Salary:
AED4, AED5,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Accounting: 3 years (required)
