Role:

The VP - Finance Processes and Systems Integration will be responsible for managing, developing, and supporting financial systems and processes used throughout Core42 to enable the Company's business objectives.

The incumbent of the role will have:

experience in delivering integration engagements throughout the financial department, covering operational due diligence, synergies, integration assessments, detailed integration planning and execution supervision

- demonstrable experience with financial reporting, system and process design, project management and internal control related responsibilities
- operated successfully in a fast-paced, global, results-oriented environment. Good oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as the ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope business requirements and prioritize.

Responsibilities:

Plan and execute integrations, synergy assessments and post deal value creation engagements. Help team with other internal Core42 finance teams/capabilities to bring functional expertise where needed.
Plan and execute Operational Due Diligence (ODD), working closely with Financial Due Diligence team to identify value creation levers and operational issues/red flags material to the deal.
Advise senior management on strategic financial systems platform conversions and integration decisions in support of business goals and objectives.
Able to monitor the endtoend operations of financial proposals.
Help perform preliminary project evaluations, analysis and design for complex financial processes and/or system changes and additions.
Provides technical direction to finance team and provides operational and system improvements to existing financial systems to correct or enhance the reliability and effectiveness of the systems.
Make recommendations for new metrics, techniques, and strategies to improve the forecasting process.
Lead the expansion of Core42 business by ensuring implementation of controlled processes to keep Core42 financial statements materially correct.
Identify and communicate financial project risks to senior leadership, along with clear recommendations for resolution or mitigation.
Provide leadership and technical guidance in executing large scale process implementations and improvements within new business launches and existing processes and controls; define scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with senior leadership and stakeholders.
Work collaboratively with the global accounting, tech, finance, tax and business teams to establish and maintain strong communication channels.

Qualifications:

To qualify for the role you must have

Bachelor's degree and/or CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA qualified.
Minimum of 14 years of progressive experience in a highly competitive multinational corporate environment and managing multimillion dollar budgets.
Proven track record of leadership and strong knowledge in financial cycle operations and industry best practices.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in complex financial environments.
Experience leading accounting/finance process improvement and/or technology projects with aggressive schedules.
Experience owning program strategy, direct delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
