About the role You will be responsible for building the strategy for the Network Sales Effectiveness and Excellence and be the support management to the Emirates CO Sales teams and the wider Commercial stakeholders.

You will develop the understanding and the future business needs of the Network Sales Teams to enable them execute the EK commercial strategy and to effectively deliver on key support areas.

These are communication, motivation and recognition platforms, other Sales effectiveness Requirements to help meet commercial challenges and changes in business dynamics, and to ensure successful adoption of available tech solutions.


What you will do Strategic Deliverables:

  • Plan and Deliver a strategy for Network Sales Effectiveness including: Teams Effectiveness Excellence and Engagement Strategy, User Tech Adoption Plan and Business Capabilities Roadmap (Effective usability of deployed Tech), and Sales Communication & B2B Content Strategy.
  • Effectively engaging with internal community of stakeholders on the wider Commercial Operations front as well as support departments to synergise, support and align on actions and future plans. Sales Teams Effectiveness (excellence), Engagement & Empowerment
  • Design and Support the Annual Business Planning Process and drive the related enhancements to maintain the agility and dynamism of the process with the ability to integrate/engage effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Effectively coordinate with the CO & Network Sales teams to promote and obtain inputs on the affective scope for annual business plans.
  • In collaboration with learning and Talent team, identify and map new skill sets required to continue to develop the sales teams for the markets and new business dynamics supported by a change management exercise.
  • Lead the creation of a commercial business capability requirements and link into Technology Investment plans. Proactively, identify future requirements to be incorporated and help prioritise Technology Investments
  • Provide transparency and visibility on the effective use of deployed technology solutions through users reports and dashboards ( for EK Sales Teams, Internal Stakeholders, Travel Agents, and Enterprise Corporate/SME) in order to deploy corrective actions where needed.
  • Lead the creation suitable framework for empowerment tools implementation to support effectiveness of sales teams. I.e. Waiver and Favours, Switch-ons, access to relevant Data and Reporting etc. Collate, Update and Promote commercial Policies, Processes & Procedures, Rules and Regulations etc. with the relevant support functions.
  • Plan and manage the internal sales team incentive program and events conferences as per commercial directions (CO SVPs, CCO and other commercial stakeholders). Communication & Content Management
  • Direct the creation of regular updates, notifications, internal communication messages of products updates), operational changes, and any other emerging commercial communication needs. Ensure sales teams have suitable and relevant communication tools for internal and external communications.
  • Build a content strategy to ensure timely and quality content creation and manage on an ongoing basis the content including languages and translation delivering to the Commercial Strategic Priorities and Local Strategies for the effective usability of the intended user community.
  • Organise and plan effectively to utilise knowledge and resources (Tech and People) within a Centralised Shared Services function to manage the CO and Global Sales support queries through mailboxes and case management/automation tools.
