The Team

Our Middle East Projects & Construction group has seven partners, one legal director, six senior associates, eight associates and three trainees / paralegals across the firm's offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha and Riyadh.

Since being established more than 20 years ago, it has grown to become the largest construction group in the region and has been consistently recognised by independent legal directories as being the best over many years.

This means that the group acts for employers, contractors and consultants on the region's most high profile and complex projects.

- strong academic background
- at least 3+ years construction experience gained at a reputable law firm with a strong reputation in the field of construction disputes
- proven track record in taking a lead role in complex and high value disputes
- arbitration experience preferred but not essential
- a willingness to assume responsibility and take a pro-active and commercial approach to issues
- a real interest in marketing/business development and the ability to foster long term relationships
- an ability to work in a team and autonomously
- drive, enthusiasm and flexibility

Essential Skills & Experience

Working knowledge of legal / contractual issues that commonly arise on construction disputes
Working knowledge of dispute resolution processes and the preparation of cases before relevant decisionmaking bodies
