We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our tax consultancy company based in the UAE.

The Junior Accountant will play a vital role in assisting the accounting team with various financial tasks and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial records.

Location:

**Key Responsibilities:
- *
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts receivable/payable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Support the senior accountants in the preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring compliance with UAE tax regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits of financial data to identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to compile and analyze financial information for management reporting purposes.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of financial transactions and ensure all supporting documentation is properly filed and archived.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Monitor and reconcile client accounts, ensuring timely and accurate billing and collection processes.
  • Stay updated with UAE tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and advising the team on any changes that may impact the company and its clients.
**Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English, Hindi & Malayalam is required
  • 12 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within a tax consultancy or auditing firm.
  • Knowledge of UAE tax regulations and accounting principles is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai International City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
