Description

Job responsibilities:
Ø Reports to the Construction Manager.

Ø Assist the Construction Manager in technical matters related to the Works of the Project.

Ø Conduct technical review of construction documents and advise Project Director on all technical-related issues.

Ø Respond to design changes and interact with commercial, planning and contract departments.

Ø Management of project site technical department comprising of technical engineers and CAD Drafters.

Ø Manage preparation and review the technical documents such as Shop drawings, RFI's, etc. for its submission following the submittal plans.

Ø Liaise and follow through with the consultant, client, authorities and third parties to clarify technical matters and obtain necessary approvals.

Ø Review the technical submittals of sub-contractors for ensuring adequacy to contract requirements.

Ø Attend meetings with Client / Consultant / Subcontractors / Suppliers on technical matters.

Ø Implement control of Drawings and Technical Documents related to the Project.

Ø Provide engineering support to resolve technical issues if any.

Ø Arrange for meetings with the design consultant to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures and construction problems.

Ø Performs other assignments associated with this position as may be appropriate and as requested by the project head.

Ø Review corrective and preventive action

Ø Other duties as directed.

EHS Responsibilities

Ø Responsible for the EHS-CMP implementation in his work area

Ø Request safety induction training for new arrival employee's prior to commencing works.

Ø Ensure all the staff members on his work location are aware of their responsibility to report immediately any unsafe act or condition.

Ø Actively promote safety awareness to his men with the objective of continual improvement in safety related performance.

Ø Ensure personnel are selected for their ability to perform the work and exclude persons whom not physically fit enough, incompetent to undertake task.

Ø Be aware of Client's EHS management system requirements for compliance.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering Design/Civil Engineering/Construction Engineering and other related majors.
At least 12 Years in Relevant Working Experience. With Abundant experience in UAE related to buildings and villa construction.

Job-Specific Skills/Abilities:
Ø Strong cost-control consciousness; able to use Ansys\autocad
evit\Sketch up

Ø Good Technical and analytical skills.

Ø Cooperative and supportive.

Ø Team work and spirit required.

Others:
Proficient in MS Office software, good command in the English language and communication skills, Competent team player.
