Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Woodworks Factory Manager to lead our production operations in Dubai.

You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of planning, set up and operating a newly built wood works factory, including production planning, scheduling, quality control, safety, and personnel management.

Responsibilities:

Design and setup a wood works factory from scratch for specific manafacturing capabilties
Recruit, train, and motivate a team of production staff.
Set up systems and process to ensure smooth operations.
Develop and implement production plans to meet requirements and deadlines.
Manage and optimize production processes to ensure efficiency and quality control.
Oversee the maintenance and calibration of all machinery and equipment.
Implement and enforce safety procedures throughout the factory.
Manage inventory control and procurement of raw materials.
Monitor production costs and identify opportunities for improvement.
Prepare and present regular reports on production performance to management.
Stay informed of industry trends and best practices in woodworking.
Liaise with customers and suppliers as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 15 to 20 years of experience in woodworks production, with 5 years as a Woodworks Factory Manager or similar role in large organisation in UAE.
Proven track record of success in achieving production targets, improving efficiency, and controlling costs.
Strong understanding of woodworking processes, machinery, and safety procedures.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in MS Office Suite and ERP systems (preferred).
Fluency in English is must
