SAP Principal Consultant, Finance

_15+ years of SAP experience_ Responsibilities

  • Total experience of around 15+ years with more than 10+ years in SAP in the areas of finance, taxation, accounts payable, accounts receivables, project costing, product costing, profitability analysis, Account finalization, budgetary control, fund management, statutory requirements, New GL migration.
  • Experience should be in Endtoend Implementation, Rollout, Support, upgrade, enhancements and various areas with implementation of Submodules like General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, New GL functionality and Asset Accounting, New GL Migration.

Role

  • Lead end to end delivery track for SAP FICO.
  • Support presales for sales pursuits solutioning, estimations, proposals, client presentations.
  • Lead Business Blueprint workshops.
  • Lead Solution architecture and design.
  • Lead a team of consultants ensure right team structure, roles and responsibilities, pyramid and people retention,
Scope Management.

  • Manage project schedule and effort pertaining to the track.
  • Ensure highest quality of deliverables from the team.

SAP Skills

  • 15+ years of experience in two or more SAP modules or submodules.
  • At least four full lifecycle implementation projects (from Blueprint/Explore through Go-Live).
  • Understanding of SAP Activate Methodology.
  • Understanding of integration between modules.
  • Ability to work in both Pre-Sales as well as implementation teams.
  • Ability to interpret customer requirements into SAP functionality, identify fit/gap as well as technical solutions for gaps.
  • May lead detailed module specific explore sessions.
  • Ability to use Service Marketplace to create tickets, research notes, review release notes, and solution roadmaps as well as provide guidance to customers on release strategy.
  • Understands complete Module/Application specific SAP functionality as well as integration points with other modules.
  • Understands how to utilize SAP's Functionality/Integration to meet business requirements.
  • Effectively plans configuration and master data development.
  • Ability to estimate resources needed to meet customer requirements.
  • Ensures SAP is meeting project objectives/vision.
**Project Requirements

  • At least 3 full life cycle implementation projects of FICO module.
  • Experience in New GL in addition to CCA, PCA, GL, FICA.
  • Deep domain experience in Finance, with CA or similar background.
  • Experience in conducting Business Blueprint workshops.
  • Experience in a Lead consultant role.
  • Client facing, people management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Middle East or India experiences preferred.
  • Clear understanding of FI-CA Integration.
  • Must have exposure on use of LSMW / BDC
  • Must have exposure in preparing BPP's, Configuration Documentation, functional specification documents for WRICEF objects.
  • Must have exposure of Solution Manager.
  • Must have knowledge of Reporting/Analytics.

Business Skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to clearly and concisely communicate with others.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Understanding of business processes for focus areas or multiple modules.
