As the CFO (M/F/d), you will be an executive leader in the company who is strategic and forward-thinking, demonstrating a passion for driving strong business results in partnership with other management team members locally and throughout the global organization.


Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Acting Executive Board Member for the whole commercial and financial area of the Group throughout North America (US/Canada)
  • Manage and support ongoing M&A projects in the context of an active buy&build strategy in case of integration
  • Direct and enhance activities within finance, accounting, budgeting, purchasing, billing, and collection
  • Manage significant financial and other risks and related opportunities
  • Establishment of a KPIbased control system
  • Make changes to the organization's financial systems to enhance and improve processes, policies, and procedures with an eye toward realtime reporting, growth, and automation
  • Participates in the development of fiscal policies and sets objectives, policies, and procedures to safeguard and administer company asset
  • Participate in the review and negotiation of acquisitions, joint ventures, and significant company transactions
  • Use Lean to improve operational performance, deliver better visibility and connection between operations and financials, and simplify work for the team
  • Develop a suitable IT infrastructure to ensure business transparency
  • Effectively communicate financial key dynamics to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide insight into forecasting & performance of the business to the Board of Directors
  • Continually seek improvement of the budgeting process through education of managers on financial issues impacting their budgets
  • Participate in the development of the company's business plans, evaluate and advise on the impact of longrange planning, and introduction of new programs/strategies
  • Direct reporting to the Holding company in Germany

To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:

  • University degree in Finance (or similar)
years of professional experience as Head of Finance or CFO of a group with various smaller autonomous units

  • Practical experience in complex M&A scenarios
  • Ability to understand the complexity and manage and resolve rapidly increasing administrative requirements in an increasingly complex country structure (corporate law, reporting, tax)
  • High affinity for creating an efficient IT infrastructure
  • A strategic visionary with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, and a strong operational focus
  • A wellorganized and selfdirected individual with a team player mentality as well as high service mentality
  • Strong communication skills, developed interpersonal skills, and an eyetoeye attitude with all stakeholders
  • Strong implementation orientation / cando and handson mentality with a pragmatic approach
  • Proficient in situational leadership, and development of employees
  • Entrepreneurial personality with good presentation skills a high level of energy, initiative, and commitment
