Overview of the role:


The role holder, you will be responsible for driving the promotion, marketing, and sales of Volvo construction equipment products, overseeing sales activities in the Dubai and Northern Emirates regions where FAMCO operates.


What you will do:


  • Contributing to the attainment of revenue and unit sales targets, as well as fostering customer engagement through adept sales process management, enhanced customer retention, and an optimized distribution strategy
  • Proactively identify and pursue new customer prospects and sales opportunities, initiating strategic action plans to engage and secure new business for the division
  • Proactively oversee customer requirements, ensuring ontime delivery while considering lead times, product specification alterations, and fluctuations in customer demand
  • Cultivate and sustain robust working relationships with key contacts
  • Capable of independently overseeing every facet of the sales process
  • Stay updated with the most recent industry regulations, standards, and best practices

What equips you for the role:


  • Educational Background:Possess either a diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Relevant Experience: Bring a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the UAE

Distributor and Dealer Experience:Previous experience in distributor and dealer sales roles, demonstrating a track record of driving sales and building strong relationships

Customer Focus:Prioritize customer satisfaction and maintain a customer-centric approach in all aspects of the role

Territory Management: Proficiently manage territory assignments, ensuring effective coverage and sales performance

Product Knowledge:Exhibit a high level of expertise in product specifications and features, enabling effective communication with customers and clients
