Overview:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Efficiently manage and collect outstanding accounts receivable balances from existing clients and reduce the accounts receivable delinquency.
  • Implement effective debt collection strategies that align with company policies and regulations.
  • Initiate legal actions for debt recovery in coordination with the legal department when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and interactions with clients.
  • Regularly monitor and report on collection activities and account statuses.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to facilitate smooth collections and preserve customer goodwill.
  • Liaise with sales, QS, and Operations departments to resolve billing and service disputes.
  • Ensure compliance with collection laws and standards.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Debt Collection Officer or similar role, preferably in the construction industry or related fields.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in English and Arabic.
  • Valid UAE driving license.
  • Strong understanding of debt collection laws and regulations in the UAE.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and collection software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Law, or related field is preferred.
