Job Role:
Oracle DBA


Education:
Graduate, preferably CSE/IT


Certifications:
Oracle Certified Professional 12c is a must.

Experience:
Minimum 10 years of hand on experience in Oracle Database Administration and Linux / Unix


Location:
Dubai

Contract Duration: 12 months Extendable


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Creates and maintains all databases required for development, testing, education and production usage.
  • Install new versions of the Oracle RDBMS and its tools and any other tools that access the Oracle database.
  • Performs database reorganizations as required to assist performance and ensure maximum uptime of the database.
  • Plans and implements backup and recovery of the Oracle database.
  • Evaluates releases of Oracle and its tools, and thirdparty products to ensure that the site is running the products that are most appropriate.
  • Administers all database objects, including tables, clusters, indexes, views, sequences, packages and procedures.
  • Expert Knowledge oracle Active Dataguard, hands on failover/switchover of database.
  • Expertise in configuring and managing oracle RAC database.
  • Expert Knowledge oracle Active Dataguard, hands on failover/switchover of database.
  • Experience in managing container DB.
