A waiter/waitress is responsible for ensuring diners have a positive experience at Roast Speciality Coffee & ZAD Food Store by exhibiting excellent customer service.

Their duties include greeting diners and taking their orders, communicating with members of the kitchen about orders and carrying meals or beverages to the correct tables.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Greets guests and presents them with the menu.
  • Inform guests about the special items for the day and menu changes if any.
  • Suggest food and beverages to the guest/customers and try to upsell the sales.
  • Taking food and beverage orders from the guest on the order taking pads/POS system.
  • Obtaining revenues, issuing bills/receipts, accepting payments, returning the change.
  • Performing the cleaning tasks as needed or directed by the branch manager/supervisor.
  • Filling in for absent staff as needed in any of the outlets of Roast Speciality Coffee& ZAD Food Store
  • Punch in the order on the POS System and make sure to enter any special requirements made by the customer while ordering the food
(Eg:

No Garlic, less spicy etc.)

  • Communicate with the customers while they are dining inn to get the review of the food, to know if they need some other things to eat or drink or to take away and to assist with the queries.
  • Observe the guests and ensure their satisfaction with the food and service.
  • Proactively take the initiatives to improve the customer service, talking to the customers, up selling the sale to achieve the monthly targets.
  • Taking guest feedback face to face and encouraging guest to share their feedback on our social media platforms
(Eg:

Instagram, TikTok, Zomato, Facebook, Trip Advisors etc.).

  • Making Post, Reels, Stories for all the social media platforms along with the support and accommodating other staff.
  • Supporting the branch and operations manager to upscale the marketing through face to face, social media marketing.
  • Proactively initiate and suggest your ideas to the branch manager and operations manager to upsell the sales which is cost effective.
  • Actively use up selling marketing techniques and customer relation to exceed guest expectations and increase revenue.
  • When assigned by a manager you must take task which is assigned in his presence or absence.
  • Pamphlet distribution for the company
  • Daily inventory counting as per the instruction from the manager.
  • Need to be aware of the coffee and mini mart experience is an advantage.

Requirements:


  • Fluent in English (Knowing other languages like Hindi, Arabic, Tagalog is an ad on)
  • Proficient in using technologies like MS
  • Office, POS System etc).
  • Previous Barista and Coffee Making experience.

Nationality Preferred:
Myanmar, Srilanka, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal


Salary:
AED1, AED2,000.00 per month
